Six Core Pages of an Export Website

A GEO-ready export site is not a stack of random pages. Six core types — home, about, services, products, knowledge base, contact — each give AI a different fact it needs to cite you correctly. Build all six from the start; later only add depth.

1. Home — the entity anchor

State who you are, what you make, and who you serve, with a clear navigation skeleton. It feeds the AI's "what is this company" understanding and the Organization schema. Avoid a homepage of only image carousels with no readable text — AI extracts entities from text and Schema, not pictures.

2. About — trust and proof

Entity facts: founding, certifications (ISO, CE), key markets, team scale, capacity. These consistent, verifiable claims build the AI's trust evidence chain. Present them as a timeline or cert list rather than prose boasting. The About page is a frequent source for "company background" answers.

3. Services — capability map

Explain what you do for buyers: OEM/ODM, sourcing, certification help, logistics. Structure it so AI can match a buyer need to your capability. The value is turning vague "we are professional" into retrievable capability entries.

4. Products — the spec database (most cited)

Model-level specs in parseable fields, not only images. When a buyer asks "which XX fits 220V/50Hz," this is the most-cited asset. Machine-readable specs also serve agentic commerce — future AI agents compare and buy from here. Product pages should carry Product schema and a clear spec table.

5. Knowledge base — the fact library (GEO main stage)

Guides, comparisons, FAQs, selection logic. It answers the real questions buyers ask AI and is where most GEO citations are earned. Run it like a "blog," but organize by buyer questions, not company news, to be citeable.

6. Contact — the conversion hand-off

Clear, consistent contact facts: address, email, form, social. AI cites you as reachable; buyers know the next step. Contact info must match across pages and external profiles or it weakens entity trust.

Where Qikaiyuan fits

The Qikaiyuan GEO Foreign-Trade Site-Building System scaffolds these six types with the GEO baseline already applied — structured fields, Schema, and a knowledge base wired to your facts (L1 build / L2 knowledge base / L3 retest loop). You supply facts; the system guarantees correct structure.

Objective boundary

Six page types are a structural recommendation, not a ranking guarantee. Quality of facts matters more than count. A thin "knowledge base" page helps less than a real one.

Do I need all six on day one?

Ideally yes as a skeleton; fill depth over time. A missing products or knowledge-base page is the biggest GEO gap for exporters.

What if I only sell one product?

Then the products page is short but still specific with structured specs. Breadth is less important than machine-readable, citable facts.

Where does the blog go?

The knowledge base is your "blog." Frame it as answers to buyer questions, not company news, and it earns citations.

Do landing/ campaign pages count as the sixth?

No. They are temporary conversion pages and do not belong to the permanent fact base. They can exist separately without replacing any of the six.

Build these in from day one with GEO site building. Check the signs of a ready site. The product scaffolds all six.
